How The Sacramento Kings Potential Move Affects DeMarcus Cousins to The Charlotte Bobcats

Roberto Gato has covered the potential of a DeMarcus Cousins to the Charlotte Bobcats trade since that rumor started.

With news that the Sacramento Kings could be moving to Seattle as early as next season, how is that trade possibility looking now?

Well, probably not very good.

The Bobcats still have a ton of first round draft picks and young talent to dangle in front of the Kings, but the team’s new owners might not want to let go of a talent like Cousins, especially if the team is moving within the year.

As far as Cousins himself, he reacted to the news of the all, but done deal to send the Kings to Seattle on twitter with a simple word: “Wow”.

The former Kentucky Wildcat has turned into a legit double-double threat every night, and he leads the Kings in scoring (17.2 points per game), rebounding (10.2 boards per game) and steals (1.4 per game).

He’s also had his share of troubles in Sacramento. He’s been benched for arguments with his coach and with a broadcaster from the San Antonio Spurs, and people around the league question his maturity level.

The one thing those people cannot question, though, is his talent and his still untapped potential.
