Atlanta Hawks at the Charlotte Bobcats: Game 42 Preview

It is that time of year again, the midpoint of the NBA season. The Charlotte Bobcats are coming off a heart breaking loss going into Wednesday nights game.

The Bobcats will square off against the Atlanta Hawks for the final time this season on Wednesday. The Hawks are coming off a win versus the Timberwolves, and will look to push their record to 24-18 tomorrow night.

The Hawks contain a threesome that can do some damage. Josh Smith, their leading scorer, Al Horford, their leading rebounder, and Jeff Teague, their leading assist man all three pose a threat to the Bobcats, and must be contained if the Bobcats want to keep this game close.

Al Horford is especially concerning for the Bobcats due to his ability to rebound the ball so well. Horford is coming off a 28 point and 10 rebound performance against the T’Wolves, and has been playing well of late.

For the Bobcats, Kemba Walker is coming off a monster game with 35 points, and needs to continue to be aggressive. His production is the key to the Bobcats playing well.

Bismack Biyombo had a ridiculous stat line against the Houston Rockets with two points, seven blocks, and nine rebounds. This is the kind of performance the Bobcats are hoping Biyombo can produce more consistently in the future.

However, Gerald Henderson struggled again. Henderson was 3-11 from the field with only 8 points.

Hakim Warrick had a good game and is looking to build off his 10 point performance, by continuing his good play tomorrow night.

The Bobcats got crushed by the Hawks the last time these two teams met, so the Bobcats are going to need to play really well with very few turnovers if they hope to win this game.

Tip off is set for 7 p.m. at Time Warner Cable Arena.
