Charlotte Bobcats Brooklyn Nets: Game 77 preview

The Charlotte Bobcats will try to get one step closer to 20 wins this season tonight against the Brooklyn Nets.

Charlotte is 18-58, with four wins in their last ten games. The Nets are 43-32 after losing their last matchup.

The ‘Cats have several players playing well late this year; Michael Kidd-Gilchrist dropped 18 points and ripped down 14 rebounds against the Heat last night, Gerald Henderson is averaging 22 points in his last 10 games, and Kemba Walker is scoring almost 20 points and dishing out almost seven assists per game in his last 10.

Josh McRoberts is also on a little run right now. He just took over the team lead in rebounds per game with seven, and he’s averaging almost 10 points and almost nine boards in his last 10.

Familiar faces have found their way back into the lineup, too; Tyrus Thomas is averaging 17 minutes over Charlotte’s last three games, and Reggie Williams scored a combined 20 points in the ‘Cats past two matchups.

The Nets are led by center Brook Lopez, who’s scoring almost 20 points per game this season. Reggie Evans leads them on the glass. He averages 10 boards per game.

For Charlotte to win this one, Bismack Biyombo and Josh McRoberts are going to have to hold their own against those two guys.

Tip off is at 7:30 pm.
