What the Michael Kidd-Gilchrist rumors mean

I think the Michael Kidd-Gilchrist rumors started by some guy at Sheridan Hoops are such crap that I’m not going to link to them But, if they’re true, here’s what they mean:

First: Since the rumors involve the Wizards drafting Anthony Bennett and the ‘Cats taking Otto Porter, that means whoever wrote this crap also thinks some combination of Nerlens Noel, or Alex Len, or Victor Oladipo, or Otto Porter or Ben McLemore will be available at four.

Second: The worst case scenario here would be if Oladipo, Porter and McLemore were all available.

Third: Even before these stupid rumors were started by that guy (or girl. It could’ve been a girl, I refuse to link to the garbage, so how do you know the sex of the idiot who wrote it?) from Sheridan Hoops, it wasn’t out of the question for Charlotte to draft Oladipo or McLemore.

Fourth: The rumor suggests the Celtics, Bucks, Hawks and Warriors are all interested in MKG (why wouldn’t they be? The Bobcats were smart to draft him, and he’s going to turn into a very good player. That’s why this rumor is so, so moronic).

Finally: The only possible way Charlotte is trading MKG to the Celtics is if they relinquish Jeff Green or Rajon Rondo. The only way the ‘Cats trade Kidd-Gilchrist to the Bucks is if they get early 70s Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in return. The Bobcats are only shipping MKG off to Atlanta if they get Al Horford back, and they’re only giving the former Wildcat to Golden State if the Warriors send Klay Thompson or Stephen Curry to Charlotte.

None of those things are going to happen.

None of this is going to happen.

These rumors are unfounded and the guy who started them must be suffering from a severe case of dissolved brain.
