Al Jefferson is a game-time decision for the Charlotte Bobcats home opener, according to Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer. Bonnell calls it “a real possibility” Jefferson will miss tonight’s game.
Jefferson was seen limping around practice Friday and did not participate in shootaround.
Jefferson went 6-19 with 13 points and 8 rebounds in the Bobcats 96-83 loss to the Houston Rockets Wednesday.
Jefferson missed three weeks after spraining his ankle against the Miami Heat in preseason.
Bismack Biyombo would likely get the start at center if Jefferson is ruled out.
UPDATE: Jefferson is out of the lineup for tonight’s game.
