Kidd-Gilchrist Questionable With Plantar Fasciitis

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist could miss tonight’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks after being diagnosed with plantar fasciitis in his right foot, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Plantar fasciitis is the inflammation of the tissue on the sole of the foot. Plantar fascia connects the heel bone to the toes and creates the arch of the foot. Typically players with plantar fasciitis can be in substantial pain for a few days, feel fine the next day, and then experience pain again.

Charlotte Bobcats coach Steve Clifford said Kidd-Gilchrist is “highly questionable” to play. If Kidd-Gilchrist sits, Jeff Taylor would be the logical choice to start at forward for the Bobcats.
