Key Match Up:

Josh McRoberts vs. Paul Millsap-In their last match up Paul Millsap put on a clinic, scoring 28 points and 5 rebounds while holding McRoberts to five points and 1-7 shooting from behind the arc. If the Bobcats are going to get the win tonight they need McRoberts to find his range and hit some threes to help spread the floor and get that pesky double team off of Al Jefferson’s back.

The Bobcats are coming into this game with the 6th seed on the line (the Wizards play the Heat tonight) and looking to regain some of that momentum that earned them a playoff berth. Charlotte has been shaky since having their season high five game win streak snapped by the Celtics last Friday, nearly losing to the lowly Sixers on Saturday. Part of  Charlotte’s struggles have stemmed from the loss of kemba Walker, who returns tonight after missing two games with a groin injury, but that doesn’t explain their recent lack of defensive intensity.

If the Bobcats are going to get their mojo back, then there’s no better team to do it against than the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks have won all three prior match ups against Charlotte this season and currently have an 11 game win streak against the Bobcats. Charlotte  can kill two streaks with one win tonight too as they also have an 11 game losing streak to playoff bound teams on the line.
