Match Up to Watch: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist vs. LeBron James-Al Jefferson may be carrying the Bobcats Offense, but in this series against the Heat it’s going to have to be Kidd-Gilchrist who shines the most if the Bobcats are going to have any chance to up set the heavily favored defending champs.

Analysis:

Charlotte is in a David vs. Goliath position as they try to open their second ever playoff berth against the Miami Heat, who they have never beaten  (0-15) since LeBron James and Chris Bosh decide to bring their Talents to South Beach.

If the Bobcats are going to have any chance of an upset, an opening round win in Miami would go a long way towards doing it. Ultimately, the game will come down to Al Jefferson  putting the team on his back and racking up points and boards in the low post. To accomplish that, they’ll also need Josh McRoberts and Kemba Walker to have an efficient night, especially from beyond the arc.

If Charlotte can avoid getting Big Al into a constant double team, then theirs a chance that we could witness an upset today.
