Charlotte Hornets: Pre-Draft workouts on Wednesday

The Charlotte Hornets have been keeping themselves busy with these pre-draft workouts. It is very important to get to know the NBA Draft prospects, and also get to see their skill-set in person, not just on film.

On Tuesday, June 3rd the Hornets hosted Justin Cobbs, Langston Hall, Sean Kilpatrick, Ian Miller, Xavier Thomas, and Scottie Wilbekin.

Here is a list of the players who the Charlotte Hornets will be working out on Wednesday:

The marquee name out of all those is the former UNC star P.J. Hairston, who would be a very popular pick if Charlotte does decide to pick him, maybe not so much with Duke fans.

But don’t worry Duke fans, you will have a player representing you at the workouts taking place on Wednesday as well, Andre Dawkins. Andre spent 5 seasons at Duke, red-shirting the 2012-2013 season. If Dawkins were to be drafted by the Hornets, it would most likely be with the 2nd round pick (45th overall).

Former Florida point guard Scottie Wilbekin has been invited for a 2nd workout, as he was one of the participants on Tuesday.

Why? I am not sure. Maybe because he did well, or maybe they just needed an even amount of players. Nonetheless, he must have done something right in order to gain another workout opportunity.
