Al Jefferson named to 3rd-team All-NBA

On Wednesday the NBA released its All-NBA teams. Charlotte Hornets center Al Jefferson was named to the 3rd-team. Big Al is the 5th player in Charlotte history to make an All-NBA team, along with Larry Johnson, Glen Rice, Anthony Mason, and Eddie Jones. Most of the time almost everyone disagrees on them, but nonetheless here they are:

I mostly agree with these selections. It is kind of weird to not see New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony on the team, but there were definitely more deserving players. Every year there are snubs and people who may not have deserved to make it.  Al Jefferson though did deserve it.  He might have even deserved to be on the second team, but he had some tough competition for that spot.
