Former UCLA guard Zach LaVine had a workout with the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, and he definitely proved he can jump. Here’s a look at LaVine’s 46 inch vertical, which set a Lakers pre-draft workout record.

It’s safe to say that Zach LaVine can jump. He even beat Andrew Wiggins’ record which was a 44 inch vertical.
Andrew Wiggins can jump really high to say the least….. pic.twitter.com/hcpD8z8gQo

Zach LaVine hasn’t really been rumored to be on the Charlotte Hornets radar, but should he be?
I am not 100% sure he would be a great fit, but he is definitely a great player. Zach LaVine might be a reach to take at No.9 overall, but there is always the option to trade down in the draft.
LaVine is a freak athlete, he can play above the rim and is very explosive. At the same time he is very skinny, which is a disadvantage. He needs to put some weight on.
He is best served playing an up-tempo style of basketball, Zach LaVine is a great transition scorer. My only concern is his ability to create his own shot. LaVine is a very streaky shooter, and he lacks the NBA body to be able to post up. If he can put some meat on his bones, he can be a great player.
We aren’t sure what position he might play yet either. He played some point guard in college with UCLA, but he can also play some 2 guard. With the Hornets already having Kemba Walker, he will most likely play shooting guard.
