Nik Stauskas to workout with Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday

The Charlotte Hornets have been hosting a lot of pre-draft workouts trying to get a better idea of who they might want to draft with the 9th overall pick in the NBA Draft.

Names like Doug McDermott, James Young, Gary Harris, Zach LaVine, and Nik Stauskas have came up as possibilities. On Wednesday, the Hornets will host Nik Stauskas for a workout to get another perspective of him.

The former Michigan star has drawn comparisons to current Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson. If Stauskas can live up to those expectations, he will be a steal for the Hornets with the 9th pick.

Not only is Stauskas a great shooter, but he is deadly. The 3-point shot is a big part of the game in the NBA right now, and Stauskas can definitely shoot it. He also fits exactly what the Charlotte Hornets need, a shooter who can also put the ball on the floor and create his own shot.

Many thought when Trey Burke left Michigan, it would hurt Nik Stauskas, but it didn’t. In fact, Stauskas arguably got better.
