Doug McDermott works out with Charlotte Hornets

On Saturday the Charlotte Hornets hosted another Pre-Draft workout in preparation for the upcoming NBA Draft. The Hornets will have the 9th overall pick, along with the 24th and 45th. Here is the list of players who worked out with Charlotte:

The marquee name out of all of them is former 4-year Creighton forward Doug McDermott, who has been rumored to be atop the Hornets list of players they are considering to draft with the 9th overall pick in the 1st round. Other names you might know is NC State star T.J. Warren, and UCLA’s Travis Wear, who started his college career at UNC.

Doug McDermott had a very successful college career at Creighton. Last year he won the National Player of the Year award, and led Creighton to a 27 win season, going 14-4 in conference play. Doug McDermott also won Big East Player of the Year, and was the NCAA scoring champion, averaging 27.6 points per game.

At the Pre-Draft workouts in Charlotte, Doug McDermott wasn’t the only Creighton Bluejay in town, as McDermott posted this photo on his Twitter account:
