Best tweets from Game 5 of the NBA Finals

Make it 3 straight blowout games in the NBA Finals, as the San Antonio Spurs were able to close out the Miami Heat in Game 5 to win the NBA championship.

The Spurs won their 5th title in franchise history, and denied LeBron James and the Miami Heat’s dreams of a 3-peat. Kawhi Leonard was named the 2014 NBA Finals MVP, becoming the second non All-Star to win the award.

LeBron James got off to a fast start in the 1st quarter, scoring 17 points, and at one point Miami was ahead 22 to 6. But that didn’t last long, as the Spurs dominated the rest of the game.

The NBA Finals wasn’t as close as it was last year, but at least we had some good tweets, right?

Personally, my favorite was the “LeBron gonna be in the locker-room like…why y’all aint help me?” The picture of Greg Oden saying it was LeBron from the future looking back on his mistakes was good as well.
