Free Agency began at midnight on Tuesday, and there has already been one major move.
Kyrie Irving agreed to a max-contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers as soon as the free agency period started, committing to the Cavaliers long-term. Something most players have never done…LeBron James….cough cough.
Many are expecting the Charlotte Hornets to be players in free agency this season. Michael Jordan came out and said he plans to add another “super-star” to the team to go along with Al Jefferson and Kemba Walker.
Rumors came out on Tuesday that the Charlotte Hornets have reached out to Brooklyn Nets guard Shaun Livingston. Livingston played for the Bobcats in 2010-2011, so making a return to Charlotte might be intriguing to him. Kemba Walker needs a backup, so Shaun Livingston would make a great fit.
The Magic, Hornets and Kings have all reached out to Shaun Livingston.

Last season in Brooklyn, Livingston averaged 8 points per game, and played a crucial role in their playoff run. Adding Livingston to the team would be a great move for Michael Jordan and the Charlotte Hornets.
There is no real news at this point, but there is interest between the two sides.
