A report came out on Monday morning that Lance Stephenson has drawn interest from the Dallas Mavericks, and Los Angeles Lakers.
Not the Charlotte Hornets.
For Lance Stephenson, I don’t see how he fits with the Lakers. I can’t see him and Kobe Bryant getting along, but who actually gets along with Kobe Bryant?
The Dallas Mavericks have been trying to land a big-name free agent for years. They finally might make a big splash with signing Lance Stephenson.
It was reported about a week ago that the Charlotte Hornets were in the running for Lance Stephenson, but I guess they aren’t interested anymore? Maybe they have something else in mind? Gordon Hayward possibly?
Hearing Monday/Tuesday meeting. RT @rick_bonnell: Gordon Hayward will visit the Charlotte Hornets next week, the Observer has learned.

The Charlotte Hornets will have Gordon Hayward in for a visit. Hayward has drawn interest from the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Utah Jazz have the ability to match any offer placed on Hayward.
Al Jefferson and Gordon Hayward are former teammates, so Big Al could play a huge role in the recruitment of Gordon Hayward.
Right now it seems that Hayward is Plan A for the Hornets, and Lance Stephenson being Plan B. I don’t think the Hornets have given up on Lance, I just think Gordon Hayward is their top priority right now.
You never know when it comes to NBA free agency, it is a total chaos. Charlotte isn’t out of the Lance Stephenson race quite yet, but it seems they are pursuing Gordon Hayward first.
What do you think Charlotte Hornets fans? Who should be the Hornets’ top priority? Lance Stephenson or Gordon Hayward? Let your voice be heard in the comment section below!
