LeBron James has not faced as much criticism as he did when he left the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Miami Heat i 2010, but he still has his critics. There are still some Miami Heat fans holding a grudge against him for leaving Miami for Cleveland, and Dan Le Batard appears to be one of those people. Here is the billboard he put out in Cleveland:

Ouch. You mad, Dan Le Batard? Yes, LeBron and Miami went to 4 straight NBA finals, winning 2 of them. But if it wasn’t for LeBron, none of that happens. If anyone is saying “your welcome” in this situation, it’s LeBron talking to Miami. He had more to do with those 2 rings than anyone else. Ok, maybe except for Pat Riley, because he’s the one that brought the Big 3 together in the first place.
LeBron James carried Miami the last 2 years. Dwayne Wade couldn’t stay healthy, and Chris Bosh was…well, he was Chris Bosh. In the NBA Finals this past season, it looked like LeBron was playing for the 2010 Cavaliers all over again, he had absolutely no help.
I love the move by Dan Le Batard though, I found it to be very funny. He tried to put a full page ad in the Cleveland newspaper, but they rejected his offer, so I guess the billboard was his Plan B.
The Cleveland Cavaliers might as well be called the Cleveland Heat next year. If Ray Allen decides to sign with the Cavs, they will have 4 former Heat players from the last few years, being LeBron James, Mike Miller, James Jones, and Ray Allen.
Ray Allen has yet to make a decision on his future, but right now it seems he’s deciding between retirement and joining LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
