The Carolina Panthers lost their preseason opener last Friday against the Buffalo Bills. The Panther offense looked very rusty, but in their defense, they were without star QB Cam Newton.
Well, the Carolina Panthers won’t have that problem tonight, as Cam Newton is expected to make his preseason debut against the Kansas City Chiefs. There are reports saying that Cam is expected to play the 1st quarter of the game:
Cam Newton will be joined by RB’s DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart, as they will be playing in the game as well. The Carolina Panthers will look a lot different than the last time they took the field last week.
Not only will the Carolina Panthers get Cam Newton, DeAngelo Williams, and Jonathan Stewart back from injury, but they will get defensive end Charles Johnson back too:
One of the trending topics around the internet and social media is the ALS ice bucket challenge. The Carolina Panthers running backs (DeAngelo, Stewart, and Mike Tolbert) participated in that challenge, and before they did so, they challenged the Cleveland Browns backfield to do so themselves.
