Buzz City Beat is Swarm and Sting’s one stop for the best articles from around the internet surrounding the Charlotte Hornets.

The Charlotte Hornets wrapped up their seventh and final pre-draft workout as the NBA Draft is only a few days away. In this edition of Buzz City Beat, we look at Bam Adebayo impressing at Hornets’ workout, creating a potential trade for Kevin Love and Kemba Walker catches a shark while saltwater fishing.

"Kentucky center Bam Adebayo just made 13 of 25 NBA 3-pointers. Wow!"

During his lone season in college, Adebayo was 0-1 from three. Either he has made some serious improvements in the past few months or his full repetiteur wasn’t on display while at Kentucky. For a 6’10” center with a 7’2″ wingspan, shooting just over 50% from deep, even in a one on none situation, is pretty impressive.

It’s no wonder that his draft stock continues to rise. He went from a fringe first round pick to a sure-fire top-20 selection after individual workouts. Everyone already knew about his athleticism but if he can be a consistent outside shooter at the pro level then his game will only continue to grow.

Making a trade for Kevin Love (TheSportsPost.com)

"Charlotte Hornets Trade Nicolas Batum and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist to Cleveland for Kevin Love and Iman Shumpert…"

While I don’t think the Hornets would make this move if it were offered to them, I do think it an entertaining idea. In all likelihood, the Cavs will deal Kevin this summer in an attempt to improve their roster. It would give Charlotte a second star to pair with Kemba Walker. Although, it remains to be seen if Love can be the same type of player he was before being traded to Cleveland.

He did average 19 points and 11.1 rebounds per game this past season and if he could put up similar numbers for the Hornets, then they should make this move. He would be a more reliable scorer than Nic Batum has been and a consistent rebounder which is what they need from one of their big men. It would create a bit of a logjam at power forward but that could be fixed by moving Marvin Williams to the three.

"Walker landed this blacktip shark on a trip with Capt. Rob Bennett of Lowcountry Inshore Charters. The shark weighed in at 80 pounds."

I never knew that Walker liked to fish but it is pretty stunning that Kemba hauled in an 80-pounder. Nonetheless, it looks like he is enjoying the offseason so far. After seeing this I have to wonder, is there anything that the all-star can’t do?
