Kemba Walker has played like a superstar this season, and the team needs to do everything they can to keep him with the Charlotte Hornets.

It’s no secret, over the past few seasons, Charlotte Hornets star Kemba Walker has been heavily included in trade rumors. You can understand why, given the fact that the Hornets have struggled as a team in recent years and really could have hit the reset button at any given moment.

Five days ago, I wrote an article regarding those trade rumors. At this point, it has seemed to become an annual thing. I don’t see the rumors going away unless he signs a long-term contract with the team.

However, Kemba Walker is still here in Charlotte, and with his impending free agency looming, the team needs to do whatever is necessary to keep him in a Hornets jersey. Whether that’s pairing him with another star or paying him $200 million, this man needs to remain with the Charlotte Hornets.

You know what I mean, this man bleeds purple and teal, and needs to be a Hornet for life. That’s what we all want to see.

With his play so far this season, Kemba has shown the world how good he really is. He’s averaging 29.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 6.1 assists for the 8-8 Charlotte Hornets. He’s put the team on his back and has really silenced any critics he has.

Here are three reasons why the Charlotte Hornets need to keep Kemba Walker in town.
