The Charlotte Hornets are almost set for the 2019-20 season. It seems like there is a clear prediction of what next season’s depth chart will look like.

The Charlotte Hornets are set to begin their first season without star point guard, Kemba Walker. With this loss, the team does have hop with their newly acquired point guard from the Boston Celtics.

They have lost other players during free agency, and they have only managed to sign two players so far. With open roster spots, it can be expected that Charlotte will sign some of their Summer League players.

After free agent contracts became official, Mitch Kupchak stated that he was unsure if the team was entering a rebuilding phase yet. He told reporters that he would not know until after training camp.

Charlotte’s young players are expected to get a lot of playing time next season. With Jeremy Lamb and Frank Kaminsky also gone, the Hornets will need Dwayne Bacon and Miles Bridges to step up their game.

Devonte Graham should also look to get more minutes next season as he is the team’s best candidate to be the backup point guard. The only question is, is who will be the team’s third point guard?

It’s not hard to guess what the team’s depth chart will look like next season, as many of the positions are obvious. My prediction will feature both Bacon and Bridges in the starting lineup.

Some of these depth chart spots were easy to pick, but others were tough and based off speculation from Coach Borrego. Without further ado, let’s get started on the predictions for the Hornets’ depth chart for this upcoming season!
