Five Things We Learned About The Charlotte Hornets
The year started out with so much optimism. Players, fans, and the entire Charlotte Hornets organization were thinking that the ceiling of this team was home court advantage in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs, with the floor somewhere between the seventh and eighth seed.
However, things did go as planned. Off-season moves did not pan out. Injuries crippled the team at various points in the year. The big trade, while initially providing a boost, withered as Charlotte experienced a brutal March schedule.
Still, there were bright spots, and even the disappointments the team went through can help the organization learn for the future. This team has talent, but things just did not go their way. As the 2014-15 Charlotte Hornets get ready to clean out their lockers and head home for the summer, we take a look back through the year and note five things that everyone learned.
