This will be Batum’s first game against his old team and also Gerald Henderson and Noah Vonleh‘s first game against the Hornets as well.

There should be some cheers in this one for the players that formerly played in Charlotte. But there might also be some bad blood between the two teams. Maybe Batum, Henderson, or Vonleh didn’t like how things were handled which could lead to some heated altercations and a very physical game.

Both teams look very different to who they were a year ago. The Hornets added some new pieces, while the Blazers lost a lot. They lost LaMarcus Aldridge to the Spurs, Wesley Matthews to the Mavericks, and Robin Lopez to the Knicks. The only player left from their starting 5 last year is Damian Lillard and he will have a chip on his shoulder this season to play harder and better than ever.
