5. The Charlotte Hornets continue their struggles against their division rivals, the Miami Heat.
This may be the Charlotte Hornets first loss to the Miami Heat this season but this is actually their 19th loss to the Heat in their last 21 games against them.
That is far from ideal for the Hornets. Dropping 19 of their last 21 games against the Heat is abysmal. With a revamped roster this season and trying to establish themselves with a new identity, Charlotte still could not beat their old divisional foes. This is yet another chapter in the Hornets continues woes against the Miami franchise.
The Charlotte Hornets will face the Heat three more times this season as they do every year and hopefully they can turn the tides of this divisional series in their favor and knock off the Heat a few times this season and possibly even win the next three to prove that they have taken the next step in the division.
