We have spent all season admiring Jeremy’s amazing hair but now it may be seen as a weapon to some.

Remember when the season began and Jeremy Lin’s spikey mohawk was the talk of the town for the Charlotte Hornets? Yeah that was pretty awesome. We have been watching him and his hair ever since.

But in the Charlotte Hornets’ most recent game against the Milwaukee Bucks, Jeremy Lin’s hair became somewhat of a problem. Jerryd Bayless learned that hard way that no one should get to close to Lin’s hair.

Bayless was defending the Charlotte Hornets’ point guard in the third quarter of the game when Lin went to drive and Jerryd tried to get in front of him. That’s when Bayless got poked right in the face by Lin’s spikey mohawk.

To add insult to injury, Bayless was called for a foul on the play. And surprisingly, Lin’s hair did not get messed up. It held stiff.

There must be some serious gel or other products in Jeremy’s hair to keep it up through a full game of basketball with all of the sweat and also when it hits other players in the face.

Here is a video of the indecent between Jeremy Lin’s hair and Jerryd Bayless:

I believe that it was Charlotte Hornets’ analyst, Dell Curry, that said “Bayless just got a mouthful of product” when this play happened. The Bucks announcers said that “He messed up his hair.” And that Bayless “got a mouthful of porcupine.”

It will be interesting to see if the league will take action against the Charlotte Hornets’ point guard and his hair. Maybe this will be the last time that we see the spikey mohawk because it has become a dangerous weapon and a hazard for other players on the court.
