Before the Charlotte Hornets take on the Oklahoma City Thunder, we caught up with our friends at Thunderous Intentions to look ahead at the match-up.

The Charlotte Hornets have not played well as of late and their schedule isn’t getting any easier as they will take on one of the best teams in the NBA as they face the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder are 31-12 on the season heading into this match-up with the Hornets.

This will be a big challenge for the Charlotte Hornets as they will enter Loud City and attempt to do something that they have never done before. They will try to get their first ever win over the Thunder in Oklahoma City. They are 0-7 all time in games against the Thunder in OKC.

The team is coming off of a win over the Utah Jazz but the Charlotte Hornets have struggled away from home this season. They are only 4-14 on the road this year with a nine game losing streak away from Time Warner Cable Arena.

More from Swarm and Sting

We all know how deadly the duo of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook can be for the Thunder. Especially after they already lit up the Hornets once before this season. OKC defeated Charlotte 109-90 back on January 2nd.

Before the game, we spoke to Oklahoma City Thunder write, David Ramil, to get some more details about the match-up from his point of view.
