The Celebrity Game is a regular fixture during All-Star Weekend since its inaugural game in 2003. The game was played on Friday, February 12th in the city of Toronto, Canada. Famous rapper, Drake, coached Team Canada as comedian, Kevin Hart, coached Team USA.
Muggsy Bogues was the shortest player on either roster as he usually is on any team that he plays for but he showed that he still has game. Bogues had a decent game with six points which was good enough for fourth best on Team USA.
Bogues was involved in one of the funniest moments in the game as fellow NBA retiree, Tracy McGrady, posted up on Muggsy. The 6’8 McGrady was backing down the 5’3 Bogues as the crowd got a kick out of the amusement.
The game had many funny moments but also some highlight plays. Canadian, Win Butler, won the games’ MVP with 15 points in the game. Canadian tennis star, Milos Raonic, had the play of the game when he finished off a fast break with a dunk. Jason Sudeikis has a Team USA high 14 points in the game and he can surprisingly ball.
