3. Jeremy Lin

Jeremy Lin had an amazing season for the Hornets after a down year in Los Angeles. He was one of the  team’s sixth man and was one of their best players all year. He got a few spot starts and always produced when he was called upon.

  • He averaged 11.7 points per game, 3.0 assists per game, and 3.2 rebounds per game this past season. Lin shot 41.2% from the field and 33.6% from the three-points line. Jeremy played in all but four games for Charlotte this year and started in 13 of them.

Lin isn’t a free agent yet but he will most likely opt out of his contract as he has a player option for next season. He signed for a discount last summer with the Hornets and his worth has grown since then. He will likely cost the team a lot of money this summer but it would be a good investment.

It will be interesting to see how many teams will be calling Jeremy and trying to sign him. Charlotte will surely try their best but they may not be able to match the money from other teams.
