Denzel Valentine SG/SF Michigan State

Pros

Denzel Valentine is a great all-around player who is kind of the jack of all trades but master of none. His greatest strength is passing the ball and facilitating the offense similar to a point guard. As his career in college progressed he turned into a good perimeter shooter off the dribble or in catch and shoot situations. Valentine can back down smaller guards when switched on them and uses his size to score in the paint. He seems to be a possible replacement for Courtney Lee.

Cons

Though Valentine has some size he is not very athletic. He is also very slow and struggles to beat his defender off the dribble consistently which is a reason why he makes it to pick 22. When you are the type of player Valentine wants to be, you must be able to beat your defender off the dribble. Very hard for a player to get faster but he must find a way to do so.
