Malik Beasley SG Florida State

Pros

Malik Beasley is a shooter. Plain and simple. His shot mechanics are impressive and he is a threat to make any shot he puts up. Beasley is also incredibly good in transition and runs the floor at a high-speed.

When the ball gets in his hand he can explode down the court and lead the fast break his self, if need be. One thing Steve Clifford may fall in love with is the fact that Beasley plays within his self and rarely does dumb moves. Clifford loves efficient players and Beasley is one of them.

Cons

Beasley needs to improve on his ability to create for others. He seems to not look for others on offense like he should but this can be coached. One of the biggest knocks on Beasley is he is not incredibly big for a shooting guard at 6’5 and 190 pounds. He will need to bulk up if he wants to be a good NBA player.
