Point Guard: Kemba Walker

Age: 26 (5/8/1990)
2015-2016 Shooting Stats: 42.7%/ 37.1%/ 84.7%
2015-2016 Averages: 20.9 PPG, 5.2 APG, 4.4 RPG, 35.6 MPG
Accomplishments: 4x Player of the Week

Kemba Walker had a career year last season as he had highs in points per game, rebounds per game, and shooting percentages from the field and from three. He made a huge jump in his progression and will be looking to take another step forward next season. He was the closest thing to an all-star level play that the team had last year.

With the 2016-2017 All-Star game set to be in Charlotte, the team will need at least one player to represent them for the occasion and Walker could be that guy. If he continues his impressive shooting numbers and looks to facilitate more than he could be a top point guard in this league. He will need to get his assist numbers up if he wants to be among the elite.

Kemba has been the starting point guard for the Charlotte franchise since his second season in the league in 2012-2013. He did start 25 games his rookie season but he completely took the reins in his second year. After being injury free last season and starting in 81 games, he will look to remain healthy and lead his team back to the playoffs.
