Center: Cody Zeller

Age: 23 (10/5/1992)
2015-2016 Shooting Stats: 52.9%/ 10%/ 75.4%
2015-2016 Averages: 8.7 PPG, 1.0 APG, 6.2 RPG, 0.9 BPG, 24.3 MPG
Accomplishments: All-Rookie Second Team (2013-14)

Cody Zeller was not the starting center to begin last season but he was to end the year. He will also have the starting role heading into the 2016-2017 season. Al Jefferson was the starting center last year but due to injuries, Cody was forced to step in.

With the expanded role, Zeller delivered by averaging career highs in points, rebounds, blocks, and shooting from the field. While a bit undersized compared to bigger centers, Cody made up for it with his agility and athleticism. He would constantly run the floor and beat other big men down the court for easy layups.

He was also a surprisingly good rebounder but he failed to make an impact on defense. His downfall was that he was not a great interior defender but his skill set could allow him to be one. Only being 23, he still has room to develop and with more NBA minute sunder his belt, he will be looking for yet another career year.
