2. Muggsy Bogues

Point Guard – 1988-1998 – 8.8 PPG, 8.8 APG, 2.9 RPG, 1.7 SPG

The 5’3 point guard is mostly known for his height but he is remembered for his play in Charlotte with the Hornets. He spent 10 of his 15 seasons with the team and holds records that have stood for decades. He is one of the most well-known Hornets’ players in the team’s history.

Bogues is the team’s all-time leader in assists (5,557), minutes (19,768), and steals (1,067). Even though he was never named to an all-star team or an All-NBA team, he embodied what the Charlotte Hornets stood for. He was one of the longest tenured players and he will always be remembered for his play.
