10. David Wesley

Shooting Guard – 1997-2002 – 14.5 PPG, 5.3 APG, 2.7 RPG, 1.5 SPG

Wesley had the longest stint of his NBA career in Charlotte as he played five seasons for the Hornets. He is the fourth leading player in assists (1,911) in team history and eighth in scoring (5,241). Although his stats do not jump off of the page, David was consistent for Charlotte throughout his five seasons with the team.

Wesley was a part of the franchise that moved to New Orleans in 2002 after relocating from Charlotte. He could have finished higher on this list as he played three more seasons with the organization in New Orleans. Unfortunately, those stats do not count towards his time with the Charlotte Hornets’ franchise.
