8. Alonzo Mourning

Center – 1992-1995 – 21.3 PPG, 10.1 RPG, 3.2 BPG –  Two Time All-Star

What?! Zo is only eighth on the list? That’s right. While he was arguably the greatest player to ever grace the purple and teal, he only spent three seasons in Charlotte. While he did put up great numbers in those three years, it was not a long enough period of time for him to be higher up on the Charlotte Hornets’ All-Time List.

Mourning began his career in Charlotte as he was drafted with the second overall pick in 1992. He had some of the best seasons of his career with the Hornets but ultimately he ended up leaving and spending most of his career with the Miami Heat. Alonzo is the fifth leading rebounder (2,176) in team history and he is the all-time team leader in blocks (684).
