6. Emeka Okafor

Center – 2004-2009 – 14.0 PPG, 10.7 RPG, 1.9 BPG

Okafor rang in the new era of Charlotte basketball as he was the first ever pick by the Bobcats in 2004. He was selected with the second overall pick in the first round. He spent five seasons in Charlotte and is the team’s all-time leading rebounder (3,516).

Emeka was also one of two Hornets’ players to ever win the Rookie of the Year award. He is also 10th in all-time team scoring (4,630). He averaged a double-double throughout his time in Charlotte.
