1. Best Dressed?

Jerry Stephens (@JR_Steph23):

The best dressed player on the team last season was Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. He was constantly looking fresh in his suits every game. It was unfortunate that he had to sit out most of the year due to injuries but it allowed him to show off his diverse style off the court. He sat behind the bench for most games and had his best suits on every night.

Deshawn White (@DeDashCray):

I think, and don’t get me wrong, that Kemba Walker probably dresses the best on the team, but he played almost every game, so you’d have to go with MKG during the season. Kemba has the SWAG that young adults and kids follow, but MKG was very classy in his sideline appearances. And since he was sidelined most of the season, he impressed me enough to steal it for a year.

Laieke Abebe (@StrikaNation24_):

MKG mostly because he didn’t play so much last season. He always represented himself well on the sidelines because of what he wore. Hopefully he isn’t wearing a suit as much this season because we really need him out there.

Luke Spencer (@SvenGalitiger):

Hmmmm. I can honestly say that I don’t really pay attention to the best dressed guys on the Hornets team. I’m not even sure if I own a suit myself (sadly). This is a good reminder to rummage through my closet sometime in the near future. Unless players are dressing up like a Russell Westbrook or Cam Newton, it’s really hard for me to care or pay attention to someone’s threads off the court.

Instead, I’m going to take this opportunity to give props to Andrea Walker (Kemba’s Mom) who always manages to make a cameo in Hornets games; she is usually well-dressed or in her son’s apparel and will give the crowd an earful if they’re not showing enough team spirit. But if I have to give a real answer to this, I guess I would have to say the Honey Bees have never disappointed me.

Max Seng (@MaxaSeng):

MKG is a guy who makes sure he represents the team in a positive light, in uniform and on the bench suited up. I believe it’s one of the reasons this organization likes him so much and made sure to secure him through the 2018-19 season. He wears the right stuff to fit his large frame well, and keeps it subtle but noteworthy. Big fan of his tenacity on the court and suit game off of it.
