Small Forward: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

After an injury loaded season in 2015-16, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist might see a dip in his overall rating for 2K17. He only played in seven games last year after two shoulder surgeries but in those seven games, he should improvement in his game. Those glimpses of an improved outside shot, attacking, and rebounding may help him maintain his previous rating.

MKG finished 2K16 with a 79 overall rating even though he didn’t see much time on the court. He may see a drop in his durability rating because of the multiple injuries last season. There may also be a boost to his shooting ability in the game because of the small amount of success that he had last year.

Kidd-Gilchrist’s rating may be the hardest one to predict because of his lack of games in 2015. Going a bit conservative, I predict that there won’t be too much of a change in his rating. While he won’t see a jump up, there shouldn’t be too much of a loss either.

2K17 Predicted Rating: 77
