Power Forward: Marvin Williams

Marvin Williams was the Hornets’ most consistent player this past season. That should help his rating for 2K17 after he finished last year with a 77 overall. His all around game and ability to shoot the ball from deep should give him a boost this season.

The 30-year old power forward had a career year with Charlotte last year. He put up career numbers in blocks, rebounds, and shooting from the three-point line. Williams has become a true stretch four and factoring in his ability to defend and rebound, his rating could see a nice boost even at his advanced age.

He was a top-20 power forward in 2K16 and I would expect him to be top-15 in 2K17. Most players at Marvin’s age don’t see much of a boost in their 2K ratings but after his breakout season, he may see small jump. The small bump can be attributed to his outside shooting.

2K17 Predicted Rating: 78
