After many ups and down in the previous year, we selected the top-10 moments of 2016, both good and bad, for the Charlotte Hornets.
2016 was a year full of ups and downs but it was mainly one of growth for the Charlotte Hornets. Cutting everything down into only the top-10 moments was difficult but it had to be done with 2017 finally upon us. It was time to reflect on the year that was for the team.
2016 saw the Hornets make the playoffs but get bounced in the first round by the Miami Heat. Not only did the year contain the tail of the 2015-16 season but it also had the eventful offseason/free agency period, as well as the start of the 16-17 season. The franchise saw a lot of roster turnover as they look to continue their development into a contending team.
Hopefully, 2017 has more good things in store like Kemba Walker making his first All-Star team and the organization winning a playoff series for the first time in a decade. While 2016 was eventful, there is surely more to come this year. This past year saw Charlotte complete their 26th season as an NBA franchise.
Without further ado, here are the top-10, good and bad, moments of the year that was 2016.
