3. Purple Shirt Guy Strikes in Hornets’ Game Six Loss

April 29th, 2016

With the Hornets up 3-2 and at home, the series was theirs to lose. Everyone in attendance was expecting Charlotte to come out with the win and a huge celebration was sure to ensue. Unfortunately, those plans never came to fruition. Thanks in large part to a purple shit fan who was getting into it with D-Wade.

The purple shirt guy brought out the killer in D-Wade. Dwyane had not hit a three in over three months but he decided to make two in the final few minutes to close out the Hornets. Charlotte still didn’t make the necessary shots to win the game but the close loss killed their morale and they were not able to bounce back in Game Seven.

If it wasn’t for the purple shirt guy, Charlotte could have been in the second round of the playoffs. Anything could have happened and maybe Wade still would’ve made those shots but having a guy in a purple shirt sitting courtside, heckling him didn’t help the Hornets’ causes.

Thanks a lot, purple shirt guy. Not to single-handedly point you out and hate on you but you couldn’t just sit in your seat and enjoy the game?
