"The Jordan 32, which hasn’t released yet, is seen here in a white and teal colorway matching the Hornets palette. There are no Hornets logos on the shoes visible in this photo, although Nike’s new NBA deal allows for the placement of team logos on footwear."
The new Air Jordan 32s are straight fire, especially with a Charlotte Hornets’ colorway. Thank Marcus Paige for giving the public a sneak peak at the exclusive footwear. Here’s an in-depth look at the Air Jordan XXXII.
It’s also interesting that teams will now be allowed to put their logos on their players’ shoes this season. These Jordans will release on September 23rd for $185 in an all-red colorway. With Michael Jordan being the owner of the team and multiple players under contract with Jordan Brand, it isn’t surprising to see one of the newest additions with this pair.
Is Charlotte the perfect landing spot for Monta Ellis? (BleacherReport.com)
"Few teams have the motivation to gamble on this type of player. The Charlotte Hornets are one of them. Putting him on the payroll, at the minimum, gives the Hornets a viable safety net in case Carter-Williams or Monk isn’t ready to pilot lineups"
The Hornets won’t likely make any other roster moves this summer but considering that Monta Ellis is still a free agent, he may be worth going after. If Rich Cho can sign him to a veteran minimum deal, it would be a low-risk, high-reward move for the team. Although he is an undersized guard and a bit of an inefficient scorer, Ellis has proven to be a solid player in small stretches throughout his career.
At this point, he could be a backup plan for Charlotte in case of injury. Even though the team’s second unit is already set, they could always use more talent on their roster. This article also says that the Hornets could also be an ideal landing spot for Deron Williams.
Barings becomes Hornets’ sponsor (BuzJournals.com)
"Asset management firm Barings made its first foray into sports sponsorship this week by aligning with the Charlotte Hornets."

Barings will back a Hornets’ bookmobile that will visit elementary schools in the local area. This will be a multi-year agreement worth about $400,000 to $600,000 a year. This sponsorship is going towards a great cause. Credit to Barings for helping to bring books to children.
