The Charlotte Hornets look to have a bounce-back win in their first matchup with the Denver Nuggets, after losing to the Milwaukee Bucks.

After a tough loss on the road to the Milwaukee Bucks, the Charlotte Hornets look to their starting line-up to have a good outing against the Denver Nuggets. A positive for the game is that Michael Kidd-Gilchrist will be available in the starting line-up. He will be limited to about seven minutes per half per Head Coach Steve Clifford.

Although, the team will be without Cody Zeller, Nicolas Batum, Julyan Stone and Michael Carter-Williams who will all miss due to injury. Looking at the matchup, this will be the first meeting between the two sides this season. Charlotte has come out on top in their last two outings against Denver.

Prediction Thoughts

Based on these predictions, it can be concluded that the Hornets did a lot of good things out of this game was similar to a blowout at home. The Hornets did fairly well at home against the Atlanta Hawks, while being down twenty at one point in that game. Malik Monk will have a chance to improve his shooting tonight against Denver. Many key players who would be in the rotation are currently unable to play tonight.

Next: Four things the Hornets and Panthers have in common

A key for tonight is that the Hornets must continue to play good basketball and limit the turnovers. In the season so far, the Hornets have averaged about seventeen turnovers in their last three games. If the Hornets can play safe basketball tonight, then the team should prove to be very successful against Denver.
