"Dwight Howard talks with Bo. Since joining the Charlotte Hornets, Dwight Howard is looking more and more like the Superman of old as he is dominating games. Most rebounds in a stretch in Hornets history."
When asked about what the movement of players in the East and injuries to key players like Gordon Hayward means for Charlotte, Howard responded by saying “I really believe that we can be a very elite team in the East.” He also added that “I think we got a real good shot at being a top-three/four team in the Eastern Conference.”
Dwight noted that the Hornets have the talent, the right coaching staff and the right attitude towards winning. Whether they can actually reach that mark this season remains to be seen but the eight-time all-star is very optimistic about his new team. He also talked about how much he loves the city and the fans.

"The Greensboro Swarm have waived Mike Anderson, Daniel Dingle and Denzel Ingram."
Mike Anderson was a returning player for Greensboro while Daniel Dingle and Denzel Ingram were both selected in the 2017 NBA G-League Draft. Dingle was taken in the second round while Ingram was picked in the third. Anderson averaged 2.2 points per game, 1.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 28 games (six starts) for the team last season.
These moves trim the Swarm’s roster to only 12 players (including the two-way contracts of Mangok Mathiang and Marcus Paige). It’s a bit surprising that they would waive two of their three picks from this year’s draft. Their first-round pick, Cole Huff, is still on the roster heading into preseason games.
Houston Rockets set NBA record versus Charlotte (GiveMeSport.com)
"In the first half at the Spectrum center, Houston attempted a staggering 32 shots from beyond the arc. This sets a new NBA record for the most shots attempted from downtown in a single half."

Although Houston was only able to make 11 of those 32 attempts, it’s a staggering amount of shots to get up from behind the arc in only 24 minutes. The Rockets ended the game with 57 total three-point attempts. They also set the record for fewest two-point attempts in an NBA game with only 28.
