The Charlotte Hornets look to end the season on a high note with a win over the Indiana Pacers after falling to them last time out.

After a dominating victory over Orlando on Friday, the Charlotte Hornets looked to finish their season strong but ultimately fell to the Pacers at home on Sunday. The team has one more chance tonight, to finish the season strong and to get pay-back against Indiana.

In the previous three games, rookie stand-out Malik Monk has dominating, while averaging twenty-three points per game. In the final game of the season, it can be expected that Monk will get more playing time tonight, after almost making a last-minute comeback against the Pacers on Sunday.

In Sunday’s game, the bench staged a comeback against Indiana and came close enough to make it a four-point game. In the last moments of the game, Monk was fouled while taking a three, and he made all three of this free-throws in crunch time. Monk has proved that he can handle pressure when the game is on the line.

It can also be noted, that in recent games, Kemba Walker has not been scoring as much as fans are accustomed to. The reason can only be because Walker has been trying to get his teammates more involved. In the three previous games, Walker has averaged only 11.3 points per game, which has been allowing other teammates to have huge games.

Prediction Thoughts

Based on this predictions, the Hornets will get to finish their season strong with a win over the Indiana Pacers. It can also be predicted that Malik Monk will have another breakout game while scoring a new career high in points in a game.

This game will also feature Frank Kaminsky having another great game, and continuing to help the bench dominate the Pacers. Kaminsky has made strides this season, and he looks to continue this in the final game of the season.

Next: Offseason issues for Charlotte to address

With the bench still limited because of injuries, it can be expected that Willy Hernangomez, Monk, Jeremy Lamb, Frank Kaminsky, Julyan Stone, and possibly Marcus Paige will be coming off the bench. This bench unit/combination has been highly offensively efficient for the Hornets in recent games.
