Focusing back in on the Charlotte Hornets aspect of the mock draft, there were some things of note that were discussed during the process:

  • Collin Sexton was not given a single vote at pick 11, would this change if a Kemba Walker trade were to occur?
  • How high does Miles Bridges project as a player? Can he fit at PF for the Charlotte Hornets?
  • Predicting Possible Donovan Mitchells (late draft risers/surprisingly great immediately): Zhaire Smith, Khyri Thomas, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Anfernee Simons.

Everyone in the selection committee really enjoyed the mock draft process, and we hope that we’ve created a mock draft that will hold true at the end of next season. Make sure to let us know what you think of the picks, and what you think the Hornets should do at pick 11.
