Marvin Williams

  • 9.5 points, 4.7 rebounds per game in 2017-18

In his four years in Charlotte, Marvin Williams has been one of the most consistent players for the Hornets He has averaged 10 points and 5.7 rebounds over those four season, shooting just over 38% from behind the 3-point line.

Williams started all 78 games he played last season, but I expect to see him split that starting time this year with a former Wisconsin Badger we will talk about in a bit. I would like to see him shift to coming off the bench, making sure the second-unit has a solid shooter. He will also benefit from newly acquired Tony Parker running point for that unit, so Williams will still find plenty of open shots from distance.
