3. More Malik Monk

Malik Monk is a talented player that has been trending upward since the season started, and for good reason. The kid is a stud, and is going to be a key member for the Charlotte Hornets for many years to come.

He’s currently thriving in his role, which is providing immediate offense off the bench for the Hornets. He’s a professional scorer who can go off for 30 points on any given night, but that’s not all he can do.

Monk is a very underrated playmaker. You can play him at either guard spot and he’ll get the job done. He’s not very good defensively right now, but it’s going to take time for him to improve on that end of the floor.

Jeremy Lamb, a solid player who plays both ends very well, will continue to serve as the teams starting shooting guard, but Monk’s play is certainly eye-opening, especially after his rookie season where he barely got off the bench.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Monk is flirting with around 30 minutes per game by the end of the season, it’s going to be hard to take him off the floor, he’s super talented.
