Cleveland Cavaliers

George Hill belongs on a winning team. Throughout his career, he’s enjoyed so much success with teams like San Antonio, Indiana, Utah and last year’s Cleveland Cavaliers, who went to the NBA Finals.

Now, with LeBron James in Los Angeles with the Lakers, the Cavaliers are in full rebuild mode, and George Hill is stuck in the middle of it. He’s always been a really good starting point guard in this league, and he never really gets the credit that he deserves.

With this move, Charlotte would land Hill, who would help them with their playoff quest. He’s able to play either guard position, and would take some of the load off of Kemba Walker. Also, he’d be a good guy to have in case Kemba Walker decides to leave in free agency over the summer, which is a possibility.

His defense is tremendous, he’s an elite three-point shooter, and as long as the team is winning, Hill is happy.

Cleveland would get a first round pick, which is what a rebuilding team needs. They can also take a chance on Frank Kaminsky, and reunite him with his former college teammate, Sam Dekker. It makes sense for both teams, in my opinion.
