The Charlotte Hornets got back in the win column on Wednesday night with a win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
It may have been a tough start for the Charlotte Hornets, but at the end of the day, they took care of business and picked up a solid win against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The final score was 110-99.
Like I said, it was a rough start to this game for Charlotte. They couldn’t get anything going offensively and were outscored 25-16 after the first quarter. The Hornets certainly played sloppy, but they did a good job cleaning things up and winning each quarter after the first.
This was an important win for Charlotte, who were losers of two straight coming into tonight’s game. These are the games you have to win if you want to be in the playoffs. Charlotte took care of business and got a win that they needed.
They needed to improve defensively, and they certainly looked better on that end tonight. It’s just one game, and against a struggling team, but still, it was nice to see more effort on that end of the floor.
This win could give the team some momentum moving forward as they look to put together a win streak and climb the Eastern Conference standings.
Now, let’s hand out the post-game grades. Bismack Biyombo was inactive tonight, while Dwayne Bacon, Devonte’ Graham and Malik Monk all picked up DNP-CD’s.
